The prognoses is that by 2050 approximately 70% of the world’s population will live in urbanized areas. Given the fact that about 90% of the world’s largest cities are situated on the waterfront, we have arrived to a situation where we are forced to rethink the way we live with water in the built environment. Considering the unpredictability of future developments and unanticipated needs, we should come up with flexible strategies – planning for change.

 

Our vision is that large-scale floating projects in an urban environment provide a tangible solution to these problems that is both flexible as well as sustainable.

We have designed a product "MIAP"as a lego-like concept. MIAP stands for "MODULAR INSTALLED ACCOMMODATION PONTOON". What does this mean? In simple terms it means that you start with our basis "Pontoon" and "Living Blocks". You can easily calculate what kind of accommodation solution is the safest and most cost effective against the likes of other solutions . 

 

The building time of our product is on average 40% faster and in most cases 50% cheaper. When there is a requirement for a longterm accommodation solution then our product will show the best scales of economics. This is maybe one of the reasons that clients have shown great interest in our new approach to our Water Accommodation Concepts.
