Building the Accommodation Pontoon locally:
Our Accommodation Pontoon technical cooperation enables us to build your Accommodation Pontoon locally, anywhere in the world. We will provide you with a prefabricated engineering building kit and can, on request, combine this with expert assistance, training and backup.
By using standardised components it is possible to make a custom-built design, fulfilling any specific local requirements. This cost-efficient technique can be applied to the full range of our accommodation platform designs across a wide variety of marine operations.
In addition, clients can take the design-only option and have the accommodation pontoon built by a shipyard of their choice.
Construction improvements
Accommodation Pontoon are continuously optimised for design and construction. Together with our own research department and renowned institutes like MARIN we strive to optimise platform and accommodation construction techniques. One goal is to use less steel without sacrificing any vital platform characteristics such as strength and load capacities. Another is to optimise the living quarters so our accommodations are compliant with the latest rules and regulations and with green and energy efficient (LED) improvements.
Dutch Maritime knowledge centres
Our accommodation pontoons benefit from knowledge gathered during ongoing research programmes within the Group. We work alongside world-renowned research institutes like Delft University of Technology, Maritime Research Institute Netherlands (MARIN) and the Netherlands Organization of Applied Scientific Research (TNO), as well as other reputed universities and lead maritime companies.
Our team is continuously improving our accommodation pontoons, making them easier to construct, greener, more cost-efficient and more environmentally friendly.
